tonight shary boyle gave the most inspiring lecture at the university of toronto fine art graduate symposium. one of the most intelligent and down to earth artists i have ever heard speak. explanations of her work and process were so empowering, particularly for women. her group exhibition 'breaking boundaries' at the gardiner museum ends on sunday. so go!
